Members are reminded that the annual subscription for next season remains the same and the treasurer would welcome payments before the season gets underway again on 3 September. Please note the change of date! Subscriptions must be paid before you can enter club competitions or play in our teams. A big thank you to the many members who have already paid their subs. Adult members can continue to play friendly chess games on a Thursday evening in the downstairs bar over the summer months. If you are thinking of joining when the new season begins please get in touch or pop into the club on Thursday 3rd or 10 September. You can now check out your published grade for the new season. I have updated the grade information on our website. Please note that the Ayr Chess congress takes place on the weekend of the 11-13 September. You can enter using the link below.

The draw and for the various club competitions will take place at a committee meeting on 10 September. Make sure your sub is paid by then so that you can be included in the various competitions which are on offer at the club.
