Members are reminded that the annual subscription for next season remains the same and the treasurer would welcome payments before the season gets underway again in late August. Adult members can continue play friendly chess games on a Thursday evening in the downstairs bar over the summer months. 24 members and former members had a very enjoyable night at the South Beach Hotel when Len Weir who founded the club was presented with a memento to mark the occasion.
Breaking News – put Monday 29 June in your diary – the provisional date for the simul with Jonathon Rowson GM and former British champion. More details will follow on this website and an e mail to all members.
