Troon chess club welcomes new and old members back to the club this Thursday for the new season. The first 2 evenings are open evenings where we would encourage anyone thinking about joining to pop in for a chat and some friendly games of chess. The up to date grade information for current members, now lists your FIDE number and grade if you have one. Please note that the Ayr Chess congress takes place on the weekend of the 11-13 September. You can enter using the link below. Troon Chess will also host the JBW trophy (for players graded under 1400). Further information about this tournament will be available shortly.

Thursday 17 September Round 1 of Len Weir Trophy
The draw and for the various club competitions will take place at a committee meeting on 10 September. Make sure your sub is paid by then so that you can be included in the various competitions which are on offer at the club.
