Busy night at the club tonight with 8 of the 16 ties in the Len Weir getting played. Results that I am aware of can be seen on the competition page for the Len Weir. Hopefully most of the outstanding ties will get played next week. All ties to be played by Thursday 1 October. The Gold, Silver and Bronze groupings/fixtures can now be found on the relevant competition pages. Troon Chess Club will host the JBW Robertson trophy (for players graded under 1400). We would encourage all members who qualify to take part in this event which takes place over 5 Thursdays from November to March.
